What Is a Tracking Pixel?

A Tracking Pixel helps you understand how users interact with your event pages, track conversions, and use that data to improve audience targeting, retargeting, and campaign performance.

You can now easily set up your Tracking Pixel directly from your Tickeri account.

💡 Meta and TikTok use a Pixel for tracking, while Google uses a Google Tag.

What does your Tracking Pixel/Google Tag measure in Tickeri?

In Tickeri, your Pixel/Google Tag tracks these key actions:

  1. PageView: When a user visits your event page.

  2. ViewContent: When a user opens the ticket search and can view the available tickets or seats.

  3. Checkout: When a user selects their tickets and proceeds to the payment form.

  4. Purchase: When a user successfully completes a purchase.

💡 Make sure you configure and select the metrics you want to measure on the platform you use for your advertising campaigns to get the most out of the data generated by your Pixel.

How to Add Your Tracking Pixel in Tickeri?

You can add a Pixel in two ways:

  • At the account level: Apply a Pixel to your events through your account's general settings.

  • At the event level: Add a specific Pixel to an individual event.

Option 1: Add a Pixel at the Account Level

  1. Log in to your Tickeri account.

  2. Go to the Marketing tab.

  3. Under Marketing, find the Tracking Pixels section.

  4. Click “Add Pixel” or “Add Your First Pixel.”

A window will open where you can configure your Pixel.

Enter the following information:

1. Tracking ID

Enter or paste your Pixel ID from Meta or TikTok, or your Google Tag from Google.

2. Platform

Select the platform associated with your Pixel.

3. Pixel Name

Add a friendly name that makes it easy to identify your Pixel.

For example: Meta Pixel - Miami Events

Once you've entered the information, click “Add Pixel.”

That's it! Your Pixel is now connected to your account.

This is how your event page will look once your Pixel is connected.

Option 2: Add a Pixel at the Event Level

If you want to connect a Pixel to a specific event only, the process is very similar:

  1. Log in to your Tickeri account.

  2. Select the event where you want to add the Pixel.

  3. Go to Marketing and find the Tracking Pixels section.

  4. Click “Add Pixel” and enter the requested information.

💡 The main difference: When you add a Pixel from a specific event, it will only be associated with that event.

What is an API Token?

An API Token is an authorization code that allows an application to securely connect with another platform and share information between them.

The API Token complements the tracking performed by the Pixel through the Conversions API (CAPI). While the Pixel tracks user activity through the browser, CAPI allows certain events to be sent directly from the server. This helps reduce limitations caused by cookies, ad blockers, and browser restrictions, providing more complete conversion data to measure and optimize your campaigns.

How to Connect Your API Token in Tickeri?

Once you add your Pixel, you'll see the API Token option below your Pixel information.

To set it up:

  1. Copy the Access Token generated by your advertising platform.

  2. Go back to Tickeri and paste it into the Conversions API Token field.

  3. Click “Add Pixel.”

Once your API Token has been successfully configured, it will appear like this:

🔒 Important: Your token is securely stored and will not be displayed again after it has been saved. Once configured, it will appear masked as ********.

Where Can I Generate My API Token?

If you don't have a token yet, you can generate one directly from the advertising platform you use.

Meta:

Go to Meta Events Manager → Settings, select your Pixel, and look for the Conversions API section. From there, you can generate your Access Token.

TikTok:

Go to TikTok Ads Manager → Tools → Events, select your Pixel, and look for Events API under Settings. From there, you can generate your Access Token.

💡 Note: The names and locations of these options may vary slightly as each platform updates its interface.

Already Have Your Pixel Installed?

No problem! You can also configure your API Token without creating a new Pixel.

  1. Find the Pixel you already have connected.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) on the right.

  3. Select “Connect Server-Side Tracking.”

  4. A window will open where you can enter your Conversions API.

  5. Paste the token generated by Meta or TikTok.

  6. Click “Save Token.”

⚠️ Important

The API Token is currently available for Meta and TikTok. This option is not currently available for Google in Tickeri.
