What is the min/max quantity tool?

The Min/Max Quantity Limits tool enables you to create ticket bundles for times when you want to create a discount offer or want to change how customers perceive your ticket prices.

Where do I find this tool?

Whether you're adding a ticket for the first time or editing a ticket, you will find a check box right below where you add Ticket Sales Start/End Times to enable this feature.

What happens after I check the box?

Checking the box will activate this tool and allow you to choose the minimum number of tickets the customer is required to purchase in order to pay for your ticket bundle. You must also select the maximum number of tickets the customer can purchase.

Could you give me an example?

  • Let's offer a table for $200 but advertise it as $50 (x4).

If you're selling a table with 4 seats at $200, then you can set a minimum of 4 tickets and maximum of 4 as well. This way when the customer pays for the ticket bundle, they will see the price for each seat ($50) but still be required to pay for 4 people which will add up to the price of the table.

  • Let's run a promotion where two GA tickets are sold at the price of one.

The general admission price, in this example, is regularly $50. When activating this feature, you will price the ticket at $25 and then have a minimum requirement of 2 and maximum requirement of 2, so that customers are required to buy two tickets together and will pay $50.
